Cancellation Policy
I understand that life unexpectedly changes and sometimes plans need to change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask for at least a 48 hours' notice.
Cancellations made with less than a 48 hours' notice will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the reserved service amount. No-shows and 24 hour or less notice will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
Thank you for supporting my small business and allowing me to continue doing what I love. As a small business owner and mother of four, this business is how I support my family. When an appointment is reserved, that time is set aside especially for you, and other clients may miss the opportunity to book that spot. Last-minute cancellations often make it difficult to fill that time, resulting in lost income that cannot always be recovered. I truly appreciate your understanding and respect for my time, my business, and the livelihood that supports my family. Corie Simms, Owner/Esthetician
Corie has been in the spa and beauty industry for over 26 years and loves it! Education is a strong focus of her business so she can provide the best possible experience for her customers. She enjoys taking continuing education classes and studying new information on skin care. A highlight was when she had the pleasure of taking educational classes with some of the most respected leaders in the industry like Dr. Howard Murad of Murad skincare and makeup artist Fatima Olive. Corie graduated in 2001 from Martens School of Cosmetology in the Aesthetics program. She studied at the Aveda Institute and International Dermalogica Institute. Another important focus of Corie’s business and home life is to be eco-friendly. Wherever possible, she uses eco-friendly and non-toxic products. She is constantly finding ways to improve upon this practice.
In her free time, Corie enjoys being with her four children. They love the outdoors hiking, beach life, and kid's sporting activities. Corie's other passions are healthy food and education. She loves learn and applies this to skin health to bring the best treatment and product for optimum skin health.

In order to ensure that my clients have incredible skin, I believe it is important to use the best products available. I also believe in using eco-friendly products whenever possible and strive to produce a minimal amount of waste while adhering to the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle. I have refined my practices over the years to tread as lightly on the earth as possible, which makes me very proud.
DERMALOGICA
When Dermalogica meets skin, skin health is redefined. Dermalogica is the number one choice of skin care professionals and consumers worldwide. Dermalogica uses ingredients that they know will work – their confidence founded by skin care professionals who use their products in their treatment rooms every day because they get results.
In 1986, Dermalogica was born. The vision was clear – a product line free of common irritants and ingredients that could cause breakouts (including lanolin, SD alcohol, mineral oil, artificial colors and fragrances) that would improve skin health, and were only available from qualified skin care professionals trained at The International Dermal Institute.
Education first
While the Dermalogica story begins in 1986, the force of change in the industry started in Los Angeles, circa 1983. Jane Wurwand, a tenured, United Kingdom-trained skin therapist new to the American "esthetician" industry, recognized that continuing skin and body therapy education was practically non-existent in the United States. While her training had been comprehensive and serious, US students entered the industry licensed yet under-trained, and worse, under-respected.
Jane put her education in action, opening a small classroom in Marina del Rey, California under the name The International Dermal Institute (IDI). She invited licensed skin therapists to get hands-on with the postgraduate training so critical to making them competitive in the business. Today, IDI is considered the international gold-standard for postgraduate skin and body therapy training with 37 locations worldwide.
